One of the best sites for Olympic photos is the Los Angeles Times photography blog. First they are covering some of the fascinating venues as well as all the most popular events. Second, as one might expect from the movie capital of the world, the LATimes photographers show a flare for getting dramatic and graphically wonderful shots. Third and most important, the LATimes photos have not been srtipped of their EXIF info so you can figure how and with what equipment their photographers [and some lens shop crews] achieved their dramatic images.
