Well the Summer is near an end and that means back to school or work – and what better way than a few help tips on getting the most from Adobe Photoshop CS4. The reason we have chosen CS4 is because Adobe has made Photoshop much more affordable by including it in several of the new Suites – – for example Design Standard includes CS4 versions of Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop for $1399 with generouus discounts if you have an earlier version of any of these tools. Net result Photoshop + plus design tools are available at 40% of the full price of all. The second reason is that it is now hard to find outside of Adobe’s own Lightroom, a photoeditor as complete and accomplished as Photoshop. Such old stalwarts as Corel Photo Impact and PaintShop Pro or Abode’s own Photoshop Elements have become so bloated and cumbersome to learn and use – users might as well pay the “premium” and get the best; particularly if you are student where legit discounts of 60 to 80% are available [and should not be ignored].
Well after this wandering preamble let me highlight some the new tips and tutorials available on our central site:
