A few clients have been asking me a for a fast, inexpensive photo editor. But after recommending Photoshop or Photoshop Elements, I quickly learn that what they really want is a fast-starting, inexpensive, easy-to learn/easy-to-remember-how-to-use photo editor. Unfortunately the Adobe products miss on these traits and so I have been on the look-out for what I call a light weight photo editor.
Here is what I have found and reviewed on the main site so far:
ACDSee Photo Editor 2008 – pretty close with great How-to section
Magix Photo Designer 7 – again close with some very nice artistic/designer features
But still no clear cut winner. If you know of any fast-starting [5 seconds or less], easy-to learn/easy-to-remember-how-to-use photo editor send me a quick note and I will definitely feature it here.
