There are a new crop of digital SLRs and David Pogue at the New York Times has reviewed these 10MPixel (slightly overweight for most uses) machines. The key new features are:
1)lower price – well below $800 for body only while keeping a full set of SLR features and performance;
2)adding dust clearing agitator for cleaning the camera sensor;
3)in camera stabilization for 2stop improvements in low shutter speed shooting;
4)better camera raw settings for post processing/photofinishing.
David list s the trade-offs among the cameras fairly well but you also may want to check DPreview.com another great source. But by late fall 2007 this review will be out of date.
